About The Position
Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP is hiring a Laboratory Manager at Straub Benioff Medical Center. This on-site role leads specimen processing operations, identifies opportunities for improvement, and implements action plans. The manager supports the Laboratory Director in achieving organizational goals and objectives, including hiring, developing, and inspiring employees. The role interacts with clients, patients, employees, and business units while delivering customer-focused service. It also involves reviewing business indicators, optimizing processes, maximizing profitability, and championing safety, compliance, and quality control. The position is full-time and exempt, with a stated schedule of 40+ hours and days as needed. The annual salary range is $95,000–$120,000, and the role is bonus eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a physical science, such as Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology.
- At least 5 years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience.
- Supervisor experience.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time constraints and without close supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Managerial experience.
- Degree in Medical Laboratory Science and Hawaii State license.
- Applicable laboratory certification, such as ASCP or AMT.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or other laboratory service organization.
