About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, the Medical Technologist Coordinator assists the Director of Laboratory in providing overall direction of the Laboratory. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the Microbiology department, ensuring testing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and team efficiency. The ideal candidate will manage QC/QA processes, supervise lab personnel, and maintain protocols that meet CLIA, CAP, and FDA standards. The candidate will also work as a Generalist in the core lab.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and completion of approved training program for Medical Technologist.
• MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Certification per unit specific competency (i.e. BLS, CPI, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of Micro experience preferred.
