About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support laboratory activities in its busiest lab in the city. The clinic serves Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's/OB, and Acute Care, as well as walk-in patients needing lab work. Responsibilities include phlebotomy and collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. The role also assists with other assigned laboratory tasks, prepares laboratory specimens and supplies, and may involve entering laboratory orders and results. The position helps ensure the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment. The role is scheduled for 40 hours per week with rotating shifts of 0700–1600, 0730–1630, and 10–1900, each with a one-hour lunch. Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
