About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in specimen processing, phlebotomy, and laboratory workflow support, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience in laboratory processing or clinical laboratory support
- Hands-on experience in phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture and phlebotomy procedures
- Process, prepare, and handle laboratory samples for testing
- Ensure proper labeling, handling, storage, and transport of specimens
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with lab standards
- Follow all laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Support laboratory staff with daily operational tasks and workflow efficiency
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and healthcare professionals
