About The Position
Sanford Health is seeking a PRN Laboratory Assistant. Responsibilities include phlebotomy and collecting, preparing, and processing biological specimens. The role assists with laboratory activities and other assigned tasks, helps prepare laboratory specimens and supplies, and may involve entering laboratory orders and results. The Laboratory Assistant ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. The schedule is variable, with two shifts per six-week schedule and the possibility of working more as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) is preferred.
- May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy program.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Experience in a laboratory-related field.
