About The Position

The Laboratory Assistant III is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation, and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results. Work is performed in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards to ensure appropriate specimens and accurate data are provided in a timely manner. The position is based at Franciscan Health Mooresville, 1201 Hadley Rd, Mooresville, Indiana. It is a 40-hour-per-week, day-shift role with a start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM and weekend and/or holiday rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology required.

Nice To Haves

• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process laboratory specimens.
• Analyze, evaluate, and report waived and moderately complex laboratory test results in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards.
• Provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
