About The Position

The Laboratory Assistant III is responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation, and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results. Work is performed in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner. The position is based at Franciscan Health Mooresville and is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift, with a start time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Weekend and/or holiday rotation is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
