About The Position
The Laboratory Analyst performs analytical testing of water samples in compliance with OEPA and EPA regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field OR equivalent laboratory experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis as assigned including chemical, bacteriological and bioassay
- Complete all applicable quality control requirements and documentation
- Follow standard operating procedures in the performance of analysis
- Perform data handling, data reduction, calculate results as required
- Prepare solutions and reagents
- Perform assigned quality assurance activities
- Perform MDL studies and assist in method development as required
- Perform equipment maintenance as required or assigned
- Troubleshoot instrument as needed
- Assist in the preparation of supplies for customers
- Assist in sample login
- Assist with sampling as needed
