About The Position

The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for delivering Quality Assurance/Quality Control for products, supporting manufacturing process and customer requirements.

Requirements

Chemical tests and analysis on raw material, in-process, and finished product samples
Analytical instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
Analysis of process water for proper chemical treatment
Preparation of reagents, solutions, and standards
Monitoring and maintenance of laboratory supply and chemical inventory
Daily testing of production samples and reporting of analytical data
Issuing Certificates of Analysis for finished product
Maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and ISO standard requirements
Participation in Continuous Improvement projects
Observation of plant and laboratory safety rules and regulations
Exceeding customer expectations through accurate, precise, and reliable results

Responsibilities

Performs chemical tests and analysis on raw material, in-process, and finished product samples following established laboratory methods and procedures
Analytical instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
Analyzes process water for proper chemical treatment
Prepare reagents, solutions, and standards as required
Monitors and maintains laboratory supply and chemical inventory to ensure effective laboratory operation
Daily testing of production samples and reporting of analytical data
Issuing Certificates of Analysis for finished product
Maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and ISO standard requirements
Participating in Continuous Improvement projects to drive business value
Always observes plant and laboratory safety rules and regulations
Continually works to exceed customer expectations through the effective production and delivery of accurate, precise and reliable results
