We’re searching for a Laboratory Analyst to support organic sample analysis within our environmental laboratory team in Commerce City, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for a laboratory professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys hands-on analytical testing, laboratory instrumentation, and producing accurate, high-quality data in support of environmental compliance and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated by supporting daily laboratory operations, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related area; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated hands-on analytical laboratory experience in a professional environment
  • Proven experience with analytical instrumentation strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LIMS systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze environmental samples for organic compounds, including Volatile Organic Analysis (VOA) and PFAS testing
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, and related analytical instrumentation
  • Review and validate analytical data to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
  • Document results and maintain records within LIMS
  • Perform calibrations, quality control checks, and routine instrument maintenance.
  • Follow established SOPs, QA/QC requirements, and chain-of-custody procedures.
  • Support laboratory operations, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned
