About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-6 years of experience providing advice and counsel to employers and handling single-plaintiff, complex, collective, and/or class action litigation and proceedings on their behalf. As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys.

Requirements

3-6 years’ high-caliber experience representing employers in various types of labor and employment matters
Experience handling employment law litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff, complex and/or class and collective action matters
Experience advising employers on traditional labor, restrictive covenants, wage and hour law, leaves and accommodations, Title III, and other general—but sophisticated—employment law topics
Excellent writing and communication skills that allow you to advocate effectively with clients and on their behalf
A desire to work hard for discerning clients and with exceptional colleagues, all of whom expect the very best from the lawyers on their team
Intellectual curiosity and high emotional intelligence
Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic
Stellar analytical skills and good judgment
Experience providing recommendations and practical business solutions to clients
The ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Admission to the New York bar

Nice To Haves

Experience handling court conferences, depositions, mediations, dispositive motions, and trials
Wage and hour experience
Judicial clerkship experience
Admission to the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and/or Connecticut bar
