About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN (LDRP Nurse) to provide high-quality care for women and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The unit is a fast-paced LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting, emphasizing strong teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
- Active RN State License
- BLS/BCLS
- NRP
- STABLE
- Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
- Must be labor-trained
Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
- Perform triage assessments and Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
- Assist as a second nurse during deliveries
- Manage overflow patients as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and recovery
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy and childbirth
