About The Position

Ogletree Deakins, one of the nation's largest labor and employment law firms, is seeking an experienced labor attorney to join the traditional labor law practice group in its Portland, Oregon office. This position offers an immediate opportunity to engage in substantive client work from the outset, with meaningful prospects for professional growth and practice development over time. The ideal candidate has experience working with employers on traditional labor law matters, including arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, collective bargaining and other labor and employment matters. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with seasoned labor practitioners on complex matters while maintaining direct client engagement from the outset. Requirements

• Juris Doctor.
• Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Oregon.
• Consideration for candidates actively seeking admission to the Oregon bar.
• Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice during employment.
• Possess traditional labor experience.
• Excellent public speaking and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work independently.
