About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, focusing on providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. The unit has 12 Labor and Delivery Beds, 2 Operating Room Suites for C-Sections, 4 Triage Beds, and 16 Postpartum Beds. The average number of births per month is 160-200. The team structure includes a Charge Nurse (free from assignments), Surgical Technicians, OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7, and Anesthesia in house 24/7. Technical requirements include RNs reading their own strips as there are no Tele/Monitor Techs available. RT Equipment such as Vents, CPAP, and BiPAP are available.
Requirements
- 3 Years of Experience
- ACLS Certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
- BLS Certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Float to mother-baby unit as needed (rarely).
- Circulate and assist in C-sections.
