About The Position
The Jim & Heather Gills YMCA is seeking a LaBlast® Instructor to lead engaging and fun dance fitness classes. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for participants of all backgrounds and abilities, fostering a sense of community, and ensuring a positive experience for all members.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess current LaBlast® Instructor Certification.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions.
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen.
- Clear a Level 2 background check.
Responsibilities
- Lead LaBlast® dance fitness classes.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants.
- Build rapport and relate well to members.
- Inspire and motivate participants.
- Provide excellent customer service.
