About The Position

Join our team at Hanover Foods Corporation as a Depalletizer Operator on the 2nd shift! We are looking for dedicated individuals to operate our automated depalletizer and ensure the smooth flow of products to our labeling lines. Requirements

Basic math skills.

Ability to frequently stand, walk, and use hands for handling and manipulating objects.
Ability to occasionally climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to read and understand documents, drawings, and instructions.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and deal politely and professionally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and follow directions.
Ability to use a computer for communication and information access.

Responsibilities

Operate the automated depalletizer to ensure a smooth flow of products to the labeling lines.
Report any mechanical or safety issues to the Supervisor or Leadperson immediately.
Inspect products for can codes and manufacturing defects (e.g., bad seams, swells, dented cans).
Remove and neatly stack divider sheets from between layers of cans.
Maintain accurate and neat paperwork and forms.
Assist the forklift driver in securing cans on the top layer.
Operate and maintain the empty skid palletizer.
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
Adhere to plant hygiene standards to ensure high product integrity.
Follow common safety practices and procedures, including wearing protective equipment.
Execute food safety, legality, and quality policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Leadperson.
