Labeling Compliance Specialist

Kettle Cuisine•Lynn, MA

About The Position

The Labeling Compliance Specialist supports accurate, compliant, and timely labeling and pack-copy execution for Kettle Cuisine products. The role reviews artwork and label information, evaluates ingredient and process changes for labeling impact, supports USDA/FSIS and FDA requirements, and maintains approval records. The specialist reviews labeling and pack-copy content, verifies approved label information against current formulas, specifications, packaging, and production sites, and assesses changes or customer requests for labeling impact. The role also prepares and maintains submissions, approvals, exceptions, correspondence, and supporting records; maintains controlled approval databases; and supports customer portals, technical questionnaires, audits, and regulatory inquiries. Success in the role is measured by accurate, documented, timely label and artwork reviews; clear links between label changes and the applicable formula, specification, customer requirement, and approval record; and identification of potential noncompliance before artwork approval. As a member of the Kettle Cuisine team, the specialist is expected to model the company’s core values and safety culture, develop team members, foster accountability and performance, support quality assurance and continuous improvement, and plan work, track results, and resolve issues.
