About The Position

The Label Cutter is responsible for operating specialized cutting machinery to trim and prepare labels used in promotional products. This role is critical to ensuring that all labels are cut precisely to specification, meeting company and client standards for promotional product customization. The Label Cutter will collaborate closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure that daily production targets are met and that all materials are prepared for further customization processes, such as printing or assembly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot cutting machinery.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision to ensure high-quality label production.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications related to various promotional products.
• Time management skills to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate label-cutting machinery to accurately cut labels used in various promotional products (e.g., bags, drinkware, apparel).
• Ensure all labels are cut to the precise dimensions and specifications required by each promotional product order.
• Inspect finished labels for quality control, verifying that cuts are clean, accurate, and meet customer requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, and adjust cutting equipment for different label types and sizes.
• Perform routine maintenance on cutting machines and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor to prevent downtime.
• Manage inventory of cut labels, ensuring they are organized and ready for the next stage of production or customization.
• Collaborate with the printing department to ensure proper alignment and integration of labels into promotional items.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting any cutting issues and proactively address potential production delays.
