About The Position

Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating label machines efficiently, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring every product meets high-quality standards. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys owning the technology they work with.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1–2 years of related mechanical or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading technical measurements and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate label machines to meet daily deadlines with a "zero-defect" mindset.
• Use mechanical aptitude to diagnose malfunctions and find root-cause solutions.
• Monitor close tolerances and use the ERP system to log materials and time accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and teammates.
