The Lab Test Simulation Integration Engineer designs, develops, and integrates real-time simulation systems with aircraft hardware and software in Hardware-in-the-Loop test environments. The role builds and integrates Simulink models, connects aircraft controllers and simulation platforms through analog, discrete, data bus, and Ethernet interfaces, and develops automated scripts and utilities to support testing. The engineer interprets aircraft and simulation electrical drawings, troubleshoots lab and aircraft-system issues, and responds to test engineers’ requests for new functionality. The position contributes to planning and coordinating engineering projects, developing technical approaches, and resolving difficult problems within schedule and cost objectives. It works under limited supervision and may provide specialized technical assistance to team members, with work reviewed for accuracy and consistency with overall objectives. The engineer liaises with people outside the assigned group, improves lab processes, and keeps current with developments in simulation, testing, and aircraft systems to improve product quality and testing effectiveness. The role is based on-site in a lab environment in Savannah, Georgia, with up to 25% travel. It is a first-shift, full-time position. Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee.
