Job Fair – Lab Technicians/Warehouse Needed (All Shifts Available) - Wednesday September 2nd, 2026 11am-3pm
About The Position
ABB OPTICAL GROUP is hosting a JOB FAIR/OPEN HOUSE on Wednesday September 2nd, 2026 11am-3pm at our Hawthorne, NY location. Full time and part time positions are available on first, second & third shift, Monday- Friday & Sunday - Wednesday, to fit your schedule and include a $1.00 shift differential for second shift (3pm-12am) and $2.00 shift differential for third shift (9pm - 6am). As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include becoming a machine operator and operating state of the art CNC machinery, receiving incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process, shipping lenses and frames to multiple locations across the United States, operating state of the art equipment in thin film coating processes, assembling multiple types of frames using hand tools, learning multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers, learning quality control process, working safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment, and learning job skills that last a lifetime and cross training in additional areas around the lab. Overtime opportunities available in most departments.
Requirements
- Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.

- Be able to stand for most of your shift and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
- Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities
- Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.
