About The Position

PVA is hiring a Lab Technician to support operations in its Applications Lab. The role assists Application Engineers with customer projects by preparing and dismantling equipment, cleaning components, organizing customer parts, chemicals, and component inventory, supporting testing and data collection, making hoses, and packaging and returning customer parts. The technician must maintain the confidentiality of customer information at all times. The position is onsite at PVA Global Headquarters in Halfmoon, New York, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Starting pay is $17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Physical ability to carry up to 50 pounds; frequent lifting, pushing or pulling, stooping, and bending or twisting are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Application Engineers with setting up equipment for customer testing.
• Assist Application Engineers with tearing down equipment after testing.
• Clean components, including valves, pumps, and tanks, after testing is complete.
• Manage and organize incoming customer parts and chemicals daily.
• Manage and organize the component inventory room.
• Assist Application Engineers with testing and data collection.
• Make hoses for new projects.
• Package and return customer parts after testing is complete.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
