San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) envisions a future where health justice is achieved for all people living with or at risk for HIV. Our mission is to promote health, wellness, and social justice for communities most impacted by HIV through sexual health and substance use services, advocacy, and partnership. We need passionate advocates for social change that embody our five key values: Justice, Dignity, Courage, Leadership, and Excellence. Lab Technicians at SFAF perform high-volume phlebotomy crucial to our mission to provide sexual health services. Lab techs will manage the processing of specimens, perform research related lab duties, perform quality assurance, interpret HIV/HCV antibody tests amongst other daily tasks. As part of our mission at Magnet/Strut all staff members also serve as HIV testing counselors when needed in the clinic. This role is a crucial part of our front line services promoting sexual health in the most at risk communities in San Francisco.
