About The Position

The site in Franklin, MA is seeking a Lab Technician to join our Analytical Services Lab in our AMC business unit. The Laboratory Technician performs chemical testing, assists in problem solving and provides technical services to other Entegris functional groups and business units, and contributes to the design of research projects through setting up tests sample preparation and analysis with supervision.

Requirements

B.S or B.A degree in chemistry, materials science, polymer engineering, or related field.
Excel and Word experience
The ability to work with tools, fixtures, and instrumentation is required.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizing skills

Responsibilities

Prepare gas phase sampling kits and ship them to internal and external customers.
Carries out and schedules routine testing, in support of manufacturing, engineering, and Entegris’ business groups objectives.
Provides accurate and timely lab test results on which product development and product applications can be made.
Provides daily calibrations, verifications, and maintenance to small lab equipment and lab instrumentation.
Process data and generate test reports.
Ensures technical information is accurate and distributed appropriately.
Support daily LIMS entries according to ISO 17025 requirement.
