As a Metrology Technician that supports manufacturing at the Glasgow, DE Siemens Healthineers Site you will be part of a team that works together to ensure compliance with site calibrations and company standards as well as solve complex problems, and support processes to keep a world class manufacturing site supplying the world with product.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Experience with Lean business systems and methodologies such as TPM, 5S and Standard Work.
3-5 Years experience working in a manufacturing environment
Position will require occasional weekend overtime
Experience with basic hand tools

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience of using a CMM system to maintain data (SAP/Cerdaac)

Responsibilities

Perform calibrations of commercial and R&D equipment.
Process documentation of change requests and outside vendor data.
Maintain a safe work environment, comply with OSHA policies, and support safety initiatives.
Completing electronic logs while utilizing Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Reading and understanding schematics, drawings and wiring diagrams.
Work with vendors to specify and order necessary parts for jobs and schedule service.
Pressure/vacuum testing, torque testing, temperature testing and pipetting/pipette testing.
Calibration of stand-alone units, as well as integrated assets on manufacturing lines.
Working with internal and external customers to schedule calibrations.
Troubleshoot testing equipment.
