About The Position

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician to work in the sample preparation department of its environmental testing laboratory. The role supports scientists by preparing water and soil samples before analysis, following established procedures, handling solvents and chemicals, and maintaining documentation and databases. Training is provided, with opportunities to develop skills and build a career in laboratory sciences and environmental science. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Compensation is $18.00 per hour; the final offer may vary based on geographic location, experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, budget, and organizational compensation guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting.
Ability to remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
Ability to work around strong smells.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves, while handling samples.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
