Entry Level Lab Technician

About The Position

Perform basic laboratory testing, prepare media, maintain equipment, and enter data with a basic understanding of laboratory theory. The position applies GMP/GLP where appropriate and promotes the company vision. It is a full-time role based in commuting distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with available schedules of Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, either 7 a.m.–3 p.m. or 3 p.m.–11 p.m. Additional hours may be needed, and travel of up to 25% may be required. A college degree is unnecessary; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely.

Nice To Haves

Some college science courses.
At least one year of experience in a bio/pharmaceutical laboratory.

Responsibilities

Perform basic laboratory techniques and analyses or prepare media, based on job function.
Enter data into a computer system.
Maintain and calibrate equipment.
Prepare and wash glassware.
Run the autoclave and other equipment.
Receive consumables and stock the laboratory.
Clean incubator chambers.
Apply GMP/GLP in areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Conduct activities safely and efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
