About The Position

The Lab Technical Assistant serves to assist with non-technical laboratory duties including daily/monthly/quarterly quality control of products and equipment. This role also involves preparation of samples for reference testing and preparation of supplies for lab co-workers. Additionally, this role processes blood orders, prepares blood components and performs other lab and clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
• Subject to indoor environmental conditions, as well as the rare case of extreme heat or cold for periods greater than one hour
• Requires stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and making repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
