About The Position
The Laboratory of Dr. Terry Lechler, Professor in the Department of Cell Biology is seeking a highly motivated and creative Lab Research Analyst, I to join our research team. This researcher will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, organizing and conducting research studies within the overall scope of the research projects in the Lechler lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant research experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Responsibilities
- Ordering of supplies, making plates, solution, and media, care of equipment, and genotyping
- Cell biologic, molecular biological, and biochemical approaches not limited to cell culture, immunofluorescence analysis, data quantitation and visualization, use of mouse models, etc.
- Attendance in participation in lab meetings, training and supervision of undergraduates and rotation students.
