This is an exciting opportunity in a cancer research lab at Harvard Medical School. The Brugge lab focuses on studying breast and ovarian cancer to uncover the mechanisms behind disease initiation, progression, and drug resistance. We are looking for a motivated and curious research assistant to join our team. Under the supervision of a postdoctoral fellow, you will investigate breast cancer initiation and progression using a new mouse model and primary patient samples. You will also gain experience with cyclic immunofluorescence (CyCIF), a technique that provides spatial resolution of cell states within tissues to understand tumor organization and cell interactions. The goal of this work is to contribute to high-impact publications. Previous research assistants from this lab have successfully transitioned to graduate programs (MD/PhD) and industry roles.
