Lab Operations Supervisor (40 hrs/day)(Temple-Chestnut Hill Hospital)
About The Position
Oversees general operation of assigned laboratory sections. Under the direction of the manager, the lab operations supervisor has the authority and accountability for facilitating the delivery of quality service for the laboratory. Works in close coordination with lab leadership and medical director(s) to coordinate the assessment, the development and the implementation of technology/testing in the laboratory. Duties include development of standing operating procedures, implementation of new technology/applications, change control procedures, quality management functions, and oversight of training and competency assessment of staff.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science Required
- 7 years experience in relevant clinical laboratory sections Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry,Physical Science, Medical Technology or Clinical/Medical Laboratory Sciences Preferred
- Amer Soc Clinical Pathology Preferred
