About The Position
The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks related to the insect collection at the Lyman Museum and ongoing collection preservation projects. Responsibilities include mounting and labeling insect specimens; cleaning and organizing insect drawers; and assisting with the preparation and reorganization of insect cabinets and collection spaces.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Experience working with insect specimens
- Familiarity with insect classification, entomological equipment and techniques
- Ability to work independently
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec
- Knowledge of English (verbal and written communication)
