About The Position
Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Laboratory Assistant processes and handles specimens for testing in the Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Moderate knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills
- Certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of medical information systems
- Phlebotomy experience (for Paoli campus)
- Certification as a medical assistant or related field
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
