About The Position
The Lab Assistant assists laboratory technical staff by performing various pre-analytical and support functions. The position orders and verifies specimens, performs pre-analytical specimen preparation, processes referral testing and specimen rejections, and responds to customer requests. The role is part-time (.60) on the evening shift at Fairfield Medical Center’s main campus in Lancaster, Ohio. No driving is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Order and verify specimens.
