About The Position

Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA, other applicable regulatory requirements, and established standards. Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable and obtains and prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff with non-clinical tasks. The listed schedule is 11:30–22:00, seven days on and seven days off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• No work experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• Experience performing EKGs.
• Experience working in a healthcare or clinical laboratory setting.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT), with certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA, or an equivalent agency.
