About The Position

Our Processing Laboratory Lab Assistants prepare blood donor samples for testing, perform quality control testing and provide support to the Bench Techs to help ensure the right product gets to the right patient. In addition, our Lab Assistants prepare components, release and label products, and prepare products for shipping. This is a Full Time/30+ (up to 39 hours per week) position working 3 weekdays and Saturday 12pm - 8:30pm with rotating holidays. This is not an ordinary heath care job. Every year we team up with thousands of blood donors and hundreds of community partners to help save lives through blood drives.

Requirements

Very detail oriented with great accuracy
Great communication skills, and a team player
High School diploma or equivalent is required
The ability to stand for long periods of time
The ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required

Nice To Haves

Previous work in the medical field is preferred
Associate’s Degree or Medical Assistant Degree is preferred
