About The Position
Provides phlebotomy expertise, decision-making, and problem-solving based on in-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures. Collects patient specimens, receives specimens in the computer, processes them, and delivers them for tests performed by the laboratory. The position is based at Baptist Medical Center South and requires travel between facilities as needed. Work is on the second shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in a hospital, reference, or physician office laboratory.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using personal computers.
Responsibilities

- Travel between facilities as required.
