About The Position

This position requires constant monitoring of the batter system and the ability to operate and troubleshoot the batter and condiment equipment. Understands how to look up QA Specifications for batter and condiment. Understands product codes and labels on batter and condiment tickets and how to use manifest to track inventory. Safely opens, handles and hangs batter bags. Monitors and adjust sugar mix tank concentration as required. Monitors and adds condiment to the formed line hopper when needed. Maintains dry batter hopper and auger levels as needed. Assembles/Disassembles batter equipment when needed. Communicates problems to appropriate personnel. Maintains expected level of sanitation in work area. Fills out paperwork as required. Understands chemicals and the hazards associated with the processing area. Performs assigned duties during cut changes and defrost as required. Cleans under and around batter and sugar mix areas. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required (will be trained if not qualified).
  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
