About The Position

The main function of a product specialist is to be the subject matter expert on a product through its development. The typical product specialist will provide technical advice to customers concerning their product. This role involves maintaining a high level of technical knowledge within the Home Appliance and Electronic Products, both Sales, Product & Customer Care Departments. The specialist will manage to enhance service expertise by reviewing service contents for products and functions and providing improvements for service contents. Additionally, the role includes the development, preparation, and critical review of technical reports, technical documents, test procedures, user guides, installation and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years experiences in Engineering or Technical Field / Home Appliance field.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

Nice To Haves

• Korean Bilingual preferred - not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
• MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current STG status to determine extent of missing contents for Dacor, including models missing from STG and content types such as Error Codes, Service Guides, Exploded View, and Wire Diagrams.
• Collaborate with the PI Team to add missing models to STG, prioritizing models with high service demand/warranty portion.
• Review Service & Training Manuals and create content for new models prior to launch.
• Demonstrates the value of a product technology to advance customers objectives.
• Provides insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products.
• Analyzes and applies industry, competition and market knowledge to present the positive value of our solutions.
• Recommends product and service configurations to assist with any system design and integration necessary.
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
