About The Position

The Knowledge Manager at Knight Federal Solutions Inc is responsible for overseeing the organization's knowledge management strategy, ensuring that critical information is effectively captured, stored, and disseminated to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes. The role requires a professional with a deep understanding of knowledge management principles and the ability to work within a secure environment, leveraging their expertise to support the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, information management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing knowledge management systems and strategies within an organization.
  • Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment, preferably with exposure to sensitive information handling.
  • Active TS SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using knowledge management software and tools, such as SharePoint or other collaborative platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and teams to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices for handling classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement knowledge management strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Manage and maintain knowledge databases and repositories, ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization through workshops, training sessions, and other initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain the integrity of sensitive information, requiring TS SCI w/ CI Poly clearance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management practices, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in knowledge management to continuously enhance the organization's capabilities.
