About The Position

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR seeks a Junior Knowledge Manager to support the CAPE Joint Data Support (JDS) Division. CAPE JDS is a multi-source funded and OSD CAPE managed organization responsible for identifying, collecting, developing, analyzing, managing, and disseminating historical, current, and future years U.S. and Non-U.S. forces inventory, capabilities, and deployment data (including planning, programming, and acquisition data) supporting collaborative study teams guided by the Analysis Working Group (AWG). JDS develops standardized data products and analytic tools to support Joint analytic efforts focused on Senior Leader decision support. Additionally, JDS supports AWG led SCI/SAP/SAR studies and analyses. The Junior Knowledge Manager, as part of a team will be responsible for providing general administrative, clerical, and/or secretarial support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. Performs routine and non-routine tasks including special projects. May be responsible for scheduling and making arrangements for meetings, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies. May take and/or transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, respond to customer/client/employee inquiries, and other office administrative duties. Interacts with other support staff and departments to gather, supply, or coordinate information. Generally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments. Uses professional concepts to solve a variety of problems. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature. Requires the use of judgment to resolve problems and to make routine recommendations.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered for the position
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two (2) years of knowledge/content management
  • Two (2) years of experience administrative experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: Administrative Support: Expertise in executive customer service, administrative support, scheduling, project management, relationship building, and communication.
  • Two (2) years of experience administrative experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: Content Management: Expertise in content creation/curation, strategic writing/communication, copy writing, marketing, and DoW access control.
  • Two (2) years of experience administrative experience in at least two (2) of the following areas: Knowledge Management: Expertise in change management, data analysis/management, large-scale content curation/management, and DOD business/content processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SQL.
