About The Position

The Knowledge Manager (SharePoint) will be responsible for designing and configuring SharePoint workflows to streamline business processes, managing SharePoint site collections, libraries, and permissions, and ensuring sites align with organizational standards and security requirements. This role involves designing and implementing metadata schemas, content types, and navigation structures to enhance information discovery and retrieval, and ensuring compliance with classification requirements and information security policies. The position also focuses on establishing processes to capture and preserve institutional knowledge, aligning processes and technology for information sharing, and utilizing various databases and content management systems. The role includes compiling performance and usage metrics reports, disseminating intelligence products, and supporting analytic production through effective information sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree +8 years of relevant experience or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Direct experience with SharePoint workflow and automation implementation and SharePoint site administration and maintenance.
  • At least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • TS/SCI with current CI Poly (adjudicated within the past 5 years or ability to pass a CI Poly)

  • 12+ years of experience with intelligence collection management
  • Experience as a collection strategist supporting national agency-level organizations
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with senior military and civilian officials
  • Graduate of an in-residence DoD / IC collection management course

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure SharePoint workflows that streamline business processes, from document review and approval to records management and content lifecycle operations.
  • Manage SharePoint site collections, libraries, and permissions to ensure appropriate access controls and security compliance.
  • Manage site collections, configure permissions and access controls, and ensure sites align with organizational standards and security requirements.
  • Design and implement metadata schemas, content types, and navigation structures that enable effective information discovery and retrieval.
  • Ensure SharePoint sites and shared drives comply with classification requirements and information security policies.
  • Establish processes to capture and preserve institutional knowledge across operational cycles.
  • Assist in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
  • Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings.
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
