About The Position

Peraton is hiring a skilled Systems Engineer (SE) to support planning for and managing activities in the Knowledge Management and Curation portfolio in the customer’s large High Performance Computing (HPC) related program. This program is cutting edge and includes everything from HPC test planning and execution, architecture design and prototyping, and vendor outreach and collaboration support. Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the Program Integrator will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program. The selected Systems Engineer should have a broad range of general systems engineering experience. The SE will support systems engineering processes associated with the transition of legacy projects to the newly instantiated cloud architecture and the planning and coordination for the development of new capabilities. The range of work includes managing and coordinating the portfolio’s master schedule, deconstructing requirements into actionable and testable elements, drafting of statements of work describing customer’s desired outcome for funded activities, and monitoring the customers development and integration efforts against those requirements. #AJCM

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience, OR A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience, OR A Master’s degree or PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Polygraph must have been completed in the last 5 years.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
