About The Position

Accenture is hiring for a joint Manager (CL7) and Senior Manager (CL6) posting in its Digital Core Reinvention practice. The practice develops precise, business-specific ontologies and knowledge layers that help AI agents retrieve and reason over trusted enterprise meaning. The role is intended for an engineer experienced across the knowledge-graph lifecycle who can shape ontology work around real business problems; hands-on LLM experience combined with strong credentials in an adjacent discipline may also be a suitable background. At Manager level, the role leads ontology work on a single engagement, including schema and taxonomy design, knowledge-graph construction, retrieval-augmented generation, and agent context engineering. At Senior Manager level, the role has authority across engagements and shapes the method. Grade fit is assessed during interviews, and Accenture may apply a one-level lift at its discretion. Travel may be required and can range from 0% to 100%, depending on business needs and client requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, including at least 1–2 years specifically on AI/LLM-based work.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with knowledge graph technologies, including RDF, SPARQL, property graphs, and/or SHACL, and graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience with retrieval-augmented generation and agent context engineering in production or near-production contexts.
  • At least 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; candidates with an Associate's degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.
  • Applicants for employment in the United States must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Entity-resolution experience at enterprise scale.
  • Experience co-designing ontologies with engineering teams during a build rather than delivering them as documents.
  • Vector-store fluency, such as Qdrant or Pinecone, alongside the graph stack.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ontology work on a single engagement at the Manager grade.
  • Design schemas and taxonomies.
  • Construct knowledge graphs.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented generation over the resulting corpus.
  • Engineer agent context so knowledge can be consumed by agents.
  • At the Senior Manager grade, exercise authority across engagements and shape the method.
