Knowledge Engineering Manager / Senior Manager

Accenture•Miami, FL
•$80,400 - $293,800

About The Position

Accenture is hiring for Manager (CL7) and Senior Manager (CL6) roles in its Digital Core Reinvention practice, which builds knowledge structures to make AI answers reliable. The practice develops precise, client-specific ontologies and knowledge layers that enable agents to look up and reason over trusted enterprise meaning. The posting covers both grades, and Accenture may apply a one-level lift at its discretion. At the Manager grade, the role leads ontology work on a single engagement, including schema and taxonomy design, knowledge-graph construction, retrieval-augmented generation over the resulting corpus, and agent context engineering. At the Senior Manager grade, the role holds authority across engagements and shapes the method. Grade fit is assessed during interviews. Travel may be required from 0% to 100%, depending on business needs and client requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in knowledge engineering, semantic web, ontology design, or taxonomy/data modeling, including at least 1–2 years specifically on AI/LLM-based work.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with knowledge-graph technologies, including RDF, SPARQL, property graphs, and/or SHACL, and graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience with retrieval-augmented generation and agent context engineering in production or near-production contexts.
  • At least 2 years leading a team or workstream within a larger program.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; applicants with an Associate's degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.
  • Applicants for US employment must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Entity-resolution experience at enterprise scale.
  • Experience co-designing ontologies with engineering teams during a build rather than delivering them as documents.
  • Vector-store fluency (Qdrant, Pinecone, or equivalent) alongside the graph stack.

Responsibilities

  • At Manager grade, lead ontology work on a single engagement.
  • Design schemas and taxonomies.
  • Construct knowledge graphs.
  • Develop retrieval-augmented generation over the resulting corpus.
  • Engineer agent context so knowledge is consumable.
  • At Senior Manager grade, exercise authority across engagements and shape the method.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) plan.
  • Bonus opportunities.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Paid time off.
