This role is responsible for the quality and appearance of the product, completing appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up, maintaining the 701 washer and chemical concentration, conducting aseptic cheese sampling, operating the natamycin bath and maintaining concentration, operating the punch machine and metal detector, handling and using cleaning chemicals appropriately, monitoring and completing punch machine needle checks, completing all documentation per production requirements, and performing all sanitation and preops.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Proficient in use of the computer
- Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
- Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
- Compliance with food safety policies
- Follow GMPs and SOPs
- Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Requires regular attendance
