About The Position
FIMCO Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Knock-Out Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for removing parts from laser-cut metal sheets using a rubber mallet, accurately counting and sorting materials, and supporting production operations with flexibility and precision.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to adapt to changing workloads and cross-train in other departments.
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use a Rubber Mallet to knock out metal parts from laser-cut sheets without damaging components.
- Accurately count, sort, and organize parts according to job specifications.
- Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Stand for extended periods during shift hours.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
- Assist in other departments or tasks as assigned based on production needs.
