About The Position

Operates and maintains knitting machines to produce various styles of knit caps. This is a fast-paced and detail-oriented role focused on maintaining the highest acceptable quality in both in-process and finished products.

Requirements

• Ability to work closely with other people.
• Punctual with a positive work attitude.
• Detail-oriented.
• Willingness to cross-train in various positions.
• Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a knit machine to set up product at the best quality possible.
• Carefully review paperwork for daily orders, including quantities, colors, due dates, and any specific notes.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.
• Work at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals are met.
• Perform other duties as requested.
