About The Position

The Kitting Operator II assists warehouse operations by inspecting, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, while maintaining an organized and clean work area. The role supports production by managing warehouse inventory and supplying materials to production areas. This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30–40 hours per week, though actual hours may vary based on business needs. The compensation target is $21.75.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Ability to operate forklifts.
Ability to operate a pallet stretch-wrapping machine.
Ability to operate a cardboard baling machine.
Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Experience reporting on key Inventory Control metrics.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.
Outstanding communication ability.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Concepts.

Responsibilities

Perform random and initial inspections on incoming material in accordance with the Incoming Inspection Process.
Receive material into designated warehouse locations using a computer or WMS scanner.
Use the inventory control system to receive, transfer, and manage materials.
Operate forklifts to move material weighing up to and possibly exceeding 2,000 pounds, and to provide material to production areas.
Maintain cleanliness in warehouse storage areas, including loading docks and outdoor storage areas.
Assist with disposal of waste material created by the production process.
Prepare outgoing shipments using protective materials such as pallet stretch-wrapping, pallet banding, and edge protectors.
Organize materials in warehouse storage areas to support production teams.
