About The Position

This is a 6pm-6:30am position with a 2-2-3 rotation. D Crew. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include adhering to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies. Weighing out ingredients for current and future production needs, accurately reading batching sheets and prioritizing weigh out needs according to customer and internal specifications. Identifying different ingredients including differences in allergens and non-allergens. Utilizing the HIVE system for scanning all pallets, ingredients, and kitting rooms. Accurately identifying and recording lot code, product, and other ingredient information. Using a forklift to retrieve product from the freezer or refrigerator and bring to Blending as needed. Maintaining a clean working area and following all GMP's. This position works closely and often interchangeably with the Blending position. Contributing to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested. Abiding by all internal policies, including GMP, attendance, and productivity. Other duties at the discretion of Management/Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Able to work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to use RF Scanner/scan gun
  • Dependable
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to Safely operate material handling equipment, i.e. Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc. a plus
  • Schreiber requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.
  • In the event, an applicant does not have current work authorization, Schreiber will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Good math skills a plus
  • 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
